Get hired for your design work — not your résumé
Why creatives join Talyer
Companies in the US, UK, Australia and Singapore hire here. You are the product they pay for — so you never do.
Free, and it stays free
- Companies pay $25 to unlock your contact details — nothing is charged to you
- We take no cut of your rate, now or later
Judged on the work
- Your portfolio is the application — no résumé, no cover letter
- Reviewed by a person; a year in your craft is the only bar
Available means available
- One email a week asks if you’re still free — answer it and you stay listed
- Nobody chases you for work you can’t take
Real briefs, not job boards
- Companies describe the job in a sentence; we shortlist three people who’ve done it
- When they unlock you, the brief lands in your inbox and you reply on your terms
What you need to apply
Three things. That is the whole application.
Paid or not, agency or freelance — a year of doing the work.
Images, a reel link, or a Behance / Drive link. For example:
- A brand identity or logo system
- Social media or ad creative for a real account
- A UI screen, landing page, deck or packaging piece
That is how companies reach you, and how the weekly availability question arrives.
The kind of work companies bring
Buyers describe the job in a sentence and Talyer shortlists three people who have done it. Briefs look like:
“Brand designer to build a visual identity for a DTC skincare launch”
“Social designer for 20 Instagram and TikTok assets a week”
“Figma designer for a SaaS marketing site refresh”

Questions creatives ask
- Does it cost anything to join?
- No. Joining is free and stays free. Companies pay $25 to unlock your contact details; nothing is charged to you, and we take no percentage of what you agree with them.
- Do I need a résumé or a cover letter?
- No. You are judged on the work. The application asks for your name, email, your discipline, your years in it, and at least three real pieces. That is the whole application.
- What happens after I apply?
- A person reviews your portfolio, usually within 3–5 business days. If it passes, your profile goes live on Talyer and you get an email with a link to set a password and manage it. If it does not, we tell you.
- What does "available now" mean, and what do I have to do?
- Once a week we email you one question: still available? Answer it and your profile stays in the "available now" filter that most companies use. Ignore it for two weeks and you drop out of that filter until you answer, so nobody is chasing you for work you cannot take.
- What is the AI Ready badge?
- A credential for creatives who have completed the ResourceMatch AI Academy. It shows on your card and companies can filter by it.
